Kelly V. Brozyna began to study nutrition in 2004. Her second daughter, Ashley, was a baby, and daughter Zoe was a toddler at the time. Both girls were not well. Kelly’s nutritionist worked with them to radically change their diet by removing gluten, casein (the protein found in dairy), and sugar. Kelly and her husband, Andrew, soon realized that their own health problems could be resolved through dietary changes as well. It was eye-opening to them to see how many different health concerns could be treated with the Paleo diet. Together, through diet and biomedical treatments, her family is overcoming celiac disease, gluten intolerance, endometriosis, ADD, and autism with great success.
Today, after years of research and experimentation, Kelly creates healthy dishes so similar to conventional recipes made with wheat, dairy, and/or sugar that no one feels deprived. She has been blogging at since 2008 and is the author of several cookbooks, including The Paleo Chocolate Lovers’ Cookbook and Dairy-Free Ice Cream.
Kelly and her family live in southern California.
